After teaching a few online classes I could feel that cagey feeling that seems to creep into your bones on cold indoor days. It shouldn't have happened, as I took the proper precautions by shoveling and clearing most of the driveways early this morning. But at 43 it is hard to deny who you are. If I sit in the house too much, or stay sedentary, things get worse for me. I just know that now about myself. As the afternoon sun dipped I made a plan was to hit the road for a few hours with the camera. All the snow we got after this latest storm changes the way the "construct" looks photographically. If the snow is deep enough it reminds me of the quote: "God is the name of the blanket we throw over mystery to give it shape" by Barry Taylor. Things that seem one way, look another blanketed in deep snow. It really messes with your mind, but again, I like that. The best days are made of trying to see something with different eyes. We're lucky enough here in CNY to get the chance.
